So our first group came just as the ice was leaving the lake and it snowed for 3 days slowing the fishing down a bit.  They still managed to boat some nice fish, biggest being 42″.

As weather last week got warmer the bite picked up, and the one group had a personal best at 10 over 40″.

Water is nice now (53 degrees) and the fish seem to moving out deeper quicker now.

Bear baiting has started and already have bears on bait.  Have some pics but waiting to get better ones.  They don’t seem to want to pose for the trail cam.  Lots of wolves on the camera though!!

With this early spring weather, camp is ahead of the game and we are ready for Walleye opener.

Looking for ward to a great season and will have new pictures soon of cabin 4’s face lift next post, just finishing trim work.
